We propose low-resolution SpeX spectroscopic confirmation of brown dwarf pairs. Each target is
the faint companion with consistent Gaia parallax and proper motion with the primary known to have
LAMOST spectra later than M6. This means each pair consists of at least one ultracool dwarf and
likely of two brown dwarfs once spectroscopically verified, adding to the rare substellar binary
inventory for dynamical mass determinations or test beds for cool atmosphere models.
For this season there are 14 bright targets [K mag 9 to 14], each ranging 2' to 12' from the primary.
