We propose to search for fluorescent emission from hot CO around 4 debris disks using iSHELL in the M-band setting to understand the frequency of massive CO reservoirs close to the system's host star. We request 8 hours of 2024A IRTF iSHELL time to observe four debris disks with SNR larger than 20 at a R=60,000 to search for fluorescent CO emission. One of the graduate students on our team has recently published a paper describing the observing strategy, instrument settings and data reduction that we plan to employ for follow-up on our recent successful JWST NIRSPEC measurements (Worthen et al. 2024).
