We propose to complete the survey of molecular gas in Herbig disks observable with iSHELL, to provide an atlas with broad and lasting value for the community. We will use iSHELL in its high-resolution modes [R~75,000 or 38,000] to cover M band [4.6-5.2 um] and L1 band [2.7-3 um] emission from CO, H2O, and OH gas in nearby protoplanetary disks around Herbig stars visible in this semester. This program complements data that we have already obtained in previous semesters to reach a total sample of 26 Herbig disks, and will provide a high-quality homogeneous dataset at high spectral resolution and high signal-to-noise. This dataset will enable multiple investigations crossing fields of disks, winds, and exoplanets, to study the structure, kinematics, composition, and evolution of the inner 10 au in Herbig disks. These data and investigations are particularly timely and important to complement extensive imaging campaigns that are now aiming to observe all these Herbig disks at optical, infrared, and millimeter wavelengths, looking for structures and planets forming in their outer disks [> 10 au].
