We propose near-infrared [NIR; 0.7 -- 2.5 micron] spectral observations of 22 members of the Polana collisional family. The goal is to compare the spectra to those of Bennu and Ryugu as a test of the hypothesis that these two NEAs, targets of sample return missions, originated in the Polana family. The project focuses particularly on D < 5 km members of the family for direct comparisons to the small NEAs, and some larger family members are included as well to investigate size-dependent spectral effects among the family and to characterize spectral variability within the family.
