The 32 Ori association is among the nearest young associations in the solar neighborhood [~24 Myr, ~100 pc], making it valuable for studies of star and planet formation. Previous studies have identified 46 members of the association. We have performed a survey for new members of 32 Ori using astrometry and photometry from Gaia EDR3, arriving at a total of 174 candidate members [which includes the previously known members]. We have used spectroscopy of some of the candidates to measure their spectral types, diagnostics of youth, and radial velocities, which are necessary for confirming their membership. Nearly all of the candidates that have spectra have been confirmed as members. We propose to use SpeX and iSHELL to observe the remaining candidates that lack spectroscopy.
