We propose to perform high-resolution [60000 < R < 85000] TEXES measurements of H2 S[1], CH3, CH4, C2H2, C2H4 and C2H6 emissions of Jupiter's mid-to-high latitudes. Observations will be recorded in October and November 2021 and inverted in order to derive spatial variations in the altitude of the CH4 homopause as well as the vertical profiles of temperature, C2H2, C2H4 and C2H6. The derived distributions of the CH4 homopause altitude will offer a unique constraint for the analyses and interpretation of Juno's ultraviolet data for which the CH4 homopause altitude is a large source of uncertainty. The derived distributions of CH4 homopause, temperature and hydrocarbon abundances will be compared with previous results derived from TEXES measurements between 2014 and 2019 to highlight the evolution of the polar stratosphere and its coupling with the external magnetosphere.
