Sandy Leggett has kindly provided information concerning the photometric color transformations of IRTF's NSFCam filters. The NSFCam J, K, and L' filters are effectively identical to those in UKIRT's IRCAM. NSFCam's H filter can be transformed to the UKIRT system via:
(H - K)UKIRT = 0.82 (+/-0.02) x (H - K)IRTF
valid for 0 <= (H-K)UKIRT <= 0.5.
Using the CIT to UKIRT transformations of Casali & Hawarden 1992 then gives the following relationship between the IRTF NSFCam system and the CIT (Elias standards) system:
KCIT = KIRTF - 0.018 x (J - K)IRTF
(J - K)CIT = 0.936 x (J - K)IRTF
(H - K)CIT = 0.79 x (H - K)IRTF
(K - L)CIT = 0.820 x (K - L)IRTF
