Setup host t8 in a VMWARE Player. 

t8 runs slackware 8.1.
Slackware 8.1 has glibc2.2.5, gcc 2.95 which closely matchs the
OS used with the embedded PC. This this the host development OS for
the embeddedx86 PC.

1. Using the slacware 8.1 iso image set up slackware.

2. General setup

   add droot, tcs3 to passwd files.

   /etc/fstab: setup /home/tcs3 and /irtf.backup

3. That it, just startup the vware, login as tcs3, to compile program
   for the embedded pc.

2014: Note on VirtualBox. Reinstalled slackware as a virtualbox VM
on bolo on 2014/03/24. Had multiple issues with vmware on linux, so
reid t8 using VirtualBox.
