tcsio - TCS Daemon IO

SYNOPSIS

tcsio [-h hostname -v ] string

DESCRIPTION

tcsio performs a single command/reply sequence to the tcsd daemon. This tcsio is install on all IRTF workstation and is intend to be used by other applications that need to communicate with the tcs. Rather than building the tcs socket protocol into your application, you can issue a system command using tcsio.

OPTIONS

-h hostname - specify the hostname running tcsd. The default hostname should be used.

-v - tcsio prints verbose messages.
