From rayner@galileo.ifa.hawaii.edu Wed Oct 23 08:02:18 2002 Date: Thu, 10 Oct 2002 19:35:26 -1000 (HST) From: John Rayner To: denault@jeans.ifa.hawaii.edu Cc: rayner@galileo.ifa.hawaii.edu Subject: dv defaults Hi Tony, At the moment bigdog A and B beams go to DV buffers a and b, and guidedog A and B beams go to DV buffers a and b. Is it possible to change the guidedog defaults so the beams A and B go to DV buffers d and e? This way I will be able to use just one DV to view bigdog and guidedog. At the moment guide images immediately overwrite the bigdog A beam spectra. This is a bit of a nuisance since I can only run one DV from my office workstation. Can you also change the default guidebox H and W from 30 to 45 for the 3.0 arcsec-wide slits (3.0x15 and 3.0x60). Thanks, John --------------------------------------------- John T.
