Hi Tony,

You can recompile the ICs today. Please change the following
defaults (see below). Please check that it all works before tonight.
I'm also planning on using SpeX from HP from about 3pm this
afternoon to familiarise the observers with the instrument.
If you need this time to recompile and test let me know 
and I'll delay the session.

In the guest account startup menus and the SpeX account also,
try to get the xterm xui and dv icons to work. At the moment 
guests have to open bigdog and guidedog xterms and start
the xui and dv from within these eg. startxui stefan:0.0 etc.
Clicking on bigdogxui etc. should do all this.

We also need the guider bm.set etc commands to work.
