If you dont have it already, you should get the telescope/yoke, telescope/platform & instrument clearance figures early on. 2. When there's a power estimate then check if existing available cass power is adequate. Use the upgrade as an opportunity to evaluate telescope/control room grounding and if we need to identify & provide phase at the control or tcs room for any electronics? 3. Any Machinery room issues, Compressor, Water Chiller, additional He lines to telescope, additional heat in machinery room etc. Any changes needed from existing cshell or spex equipment? 4. Will the new secondary have any impact on the instrument design. 5. When the weight is known we need to look at the balance issues If it's lighter than spex, the mounting shouldn't be an issue. 6.
