Recent changes to TCS documents:


4/12/96:
Put the TCS communications link manual on the web. This is the description of the ASCII commands from an external computer over a serial port to the TCS. The commands cause various telescope motions to occur or current status to be read back to the external computer. A description of the serial port signals and cabling is included.

5/15/96:
The "Tips and Tricks" web page now includes the typed commands relating to software version numbers (?VERS, COMP_VERS, 221 LOAD).

5/22/96:
Added a URL reference on the TCS home page with instructions to print the complete TCS communications link manual. Modified the instructions for printing the sky map document to include the recent availability of a duplex laser printer in Manoa.

11/12/96:
Updated the Tips and Tricks page to include the dome vignetting update interval DSECS (TCS version 1996-C3).

3/30/98:
Updated the Tips and Tricks page to include a treatment of the software slew limits at the end of the document.
