This README1.txt file contains instructions for the 61 pin hermetic connector fanout board. Files: 61bdsch1.sch = schematic file 61bdsch1.pdf = pdf schematic 61bdsch1.net = netlist in CASE format 61EXAMPL.pdf = example layout file for pcb, but the 61pin connector footprint is shown for the wrong side of the board. 61con.pdf = connector specs 61pinout.pdf = connector pinout LAYOUT NOTES: 1. Layer stackup: the pcb should be a 4 layer board. TOP 34 pin headers + 2 single 17 pin headers -------------------------------------------------- Layer 1 Trace layer for net names ending in -1 -------------------------------------------------- Layer 2 AGND plane -------------------------------------------------- Layer 3 Trace layer for net names ending in -2 -------------------------------------------------- Layer 4 AGND plane BOTTOM 61 pin hermetic connector note: The schematic shows a non typical bottom (solder side) of the board. Board should be layed out with 34 pin headers pin 1 on upper left (normal configuration) and the 61 pin footprint will be flipped. 2. The signal traces are meant to be routed in pairs from the 61 pin heremetic to the header pins - see netlist and schematic. 3. Vias are not allowed/necessary. 4. Soldermask both sides. Silkscreen TOP. 5. The 2 pin header is for a jumper to AGND - make accessable. MECHANICAL NOTES: 1. PCB is 2 inches square. 2. The 61 pin case will interfere with the headers if mounted flush to the pcb. Assembler will need to standoff the connector.
