* CALL FOR CONFIRMATION OF ATTENDANCE TO SOCIAL EVENTS (PLEASE, DON'T MISS THIS)
We are glad to communicate that all 32 submitted contributed abstracts have been accepted to the CD07 workshop as an effort to give to every participant a chance to present their own work to our scientific community. Those papers that the SOC has found to be only partly related to the workshop itself have been accomodated into smaller slots of time. Contributions dealing with very similar subjects and/or by the same group have been paired into "back-to-back" presentations. We have therefore tried to set up sessions that may trigger discussion between colleagues from different sub-fields.
At the end of most sessions there will be a time called "Open discussion". This space may be used freely for asking questions, re-open previously started discussions, introducing new points of view on any of the subjects of the workshop, etc.
Invited reviews will have some 30' plus up to 15' for questions and discussion. Contributed talks will have some 15' plus 10' for questions and discussion (10'+ 5', in some cases, as mentioned above). We will e-mail directly to speakers the amount of time they have been assigned. We should have one PC/laptop with Windows XP (Office 2003, Windows Media Player, Quicktime, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Open Office) and one Apple Mac Intosh with all standard amenities. This two machines will be available for presentations, so -in order to avoid overheads due to connection changes- please remember to bring your file to the person in charge to set it properly. If your presentation is in the afternoon, please bring it in during the morning; if your presentation is in the morning, bring it in the afternoon before.
Please find the Scientific Program of the CD07 workshop, along with all abstracts, attached here (as "pdf" files) as well as on the CD07 web page: Scientific Program, Invited Review Abstracts, Contributed Talk Abstract.

Hotel Spa Porta MAris offers cable DSL connections in all rooms free of charge. You only need to take a network cable with you (or lend it at the reception, depositing 6 Euros that you will get back on departure. I don't know how many available cables they have). The Reception Hall and the Bar have wireless connections. Inside the conference hall there is no wireless connection. 5 cable connections will be available in the hall itself and one PC connected to the Internet should be available for those people who have not their own laptop with them. On thursday 28th, all sessions will be at Alicante Univeristy. Inside the conference hall and the immediate surroundings you will be able to connect to a \ specific wireless network with just a password that we will provide you. Again, we will set up a PC for colleagues without laptops.
