Hello Tony, The first thing I would do is to ensure that the images do indeed have the same parameters: This can quite often affect the baseline and noise levels. To check this open both image sin Solis. When you load an image in Solis a blue circular-icon with an “i” in it should appear. Clicking on this will have all of the parameters you used. You can check it out or you can email me the images and I’d be glad to compare them. If you don’t notice a difference could you save the files from your programs in the SIF format and send them to me, please. We can also try updating your versions of Solis and the SDK (see instructions below). I'd like for you to register on our website, where I can give you download rights to the latest version of software; Go the bottom of the page of the site (www.andor.com), click "Downloads". Then click on the "Log In" in the upper-right-hand corner, and register. An email will be sent to the email you used to register, click on the link inside the confirming email.
