The software controlling the data buffers for CSHELL has been modified,
in response to requests by several observers. The current (06/2000) arrangement
of buffers in this version of the CSHELL software (v2.60) is the
following:
- The Object frame is displayed in B0 (on vf).
- The Sky frame is displayed in B1.
- The SubAB (A - B) frame is put into B2.
- If both SubAB and CalcMean buttons are checked then in each cycle:
- The sum of (A-B) is accumulated in B7.
- The mean of (A-B) is put into B3.
- If the CalcMean button only is checked then:
- The sum of the A frames is accumulated in B7.
- The mean of the A frames is put into B3.
The only options are to be able to turn off/on the SubAB and CalcMean
functions. The default is ON for both.
