0. First make sure haredware is in safe options

	0.1 POM is out.
	0.2 FCS is out. Laser is OFF.
	0.3 APD power is off.

1. Exiting Applications

   1.1 Exit all XUI.

   1.2 Stop the IC, by cntl-C in xterm.

   1.3 Stop the lpi programe, by typing "stop_lpi" in the lpi xterm.

   1.4 Remove the lp proces, by typing "stop_ao" in the lp xterm.
