ADAPTIVE OPTICS STATUS
The Adaptive Optics system development is currently on hold in order
to allow us to finish NSFCAM2 and the new telescope control system.
In addition, we need to start work funded by the NSF to replace our
secondary mirror with one that will be configured to remove the
spherical aberration of the primary mirror. This will improve the
image quality for all of our instruments and allow the adaptive
optics system to achieve the best performance possible. If you would
