LIST OF BRIGHT REFERENCE STARS SUITABLE FOR THE CORRECTION OF THE ATMOSPHERIC TRANSMISSION IN INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY (Maiolino, Rieke, & Rieke 1996, AJ, 111, 537) This is a list of 366 stars, taken from the Bright Star Catalog (5th ed., prel. --Hoffleit D.), suitable for the correction of the atmospheric transmission in near-infrared spectroscopy as described in Maiolino, Rieke & Rieke (1996). The spectral type is thus selected to be either GV or F6-9V. Spectroscopic binaries and star showing spectral peculiarities have been discarded.
